Blackcurrant 60 ml bottle IQOS in Australia: the flat shortlist
Blackcurrant in Australia: 13 units tested over 6 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Blackcurrant in a 60 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Australia the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you are looking at blackcurrant in Australia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 60 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: blackcurrant in Australia works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a blackcurrant 60 ml bottle really costs in Australia
A blackcurrant 60 ml bottle from the flat-rate options in Australia costs about A$2.49 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested blackcurrant in a 60 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why blackcurrant tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Australia caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml outside legal prescription channels. Shipping of nicotine to Australia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Australia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should blackcurrant start at?
Start at whatever Australia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 60 ml bottle.
How much does a 60 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Australia: about A$2.49 per 10 ml liquid plus A$28 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
