Candy box mod IQOS in Australia: the online shortlist
Candy in Australia: 20 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
How we tested Candy box mod here
A candy box mod from the online options in Australia costs about A$1.75 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The honest read on candy: 20 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long candy tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a candy box mod really costs in Australia
If you are looking at candy in Australia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested candy in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where candy goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised A$38 entry kit as the real cost when refills run A$1.75 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why candy tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for candy in Australia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Australia caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml outside legal prescription channels.
