Citrus starter kit IQOS in Australia: the review shortlist
Citrus in Australia: 7 units tested over 4 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the citrus habit
Citrus in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Australia the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Most people searching IQOS in Australia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: citrus in Australia works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus starter kit really costs in Australia
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Australia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested citrus in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Australia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Australia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Australia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Australia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for citrus in Australia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|

| Format | starter kit | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 7 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | 20 mg/mL | Legal retail limit in Australia |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Australia | 4–9 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | A$50 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | A$3.2 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On citrus the budget price and the premium price can sit within A$3.2 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
How long does citrus in a starter kit last?
In Australia we measured 4 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever Australia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
