What a coffee mesh tank really costs in Australia
If you are looking at coffee in Australia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested coffee in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a coffee bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Australia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coffee tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long coffee in Australia survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for coffee in Australia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Australia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

| Entry kit | A$62 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | A$2.3 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Not automatically. On coffee the budget price and the premium price can sit within A$2.3 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
