Dessert mesh tank IQOS in Australia: the cheap shortlist
Dessert in Australia: 10 units tested over 2 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
Where buyers go wrong with dessert in Australia
We run dessert the same way in Australia: same mesh tank, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Dessert mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert mesh tank really costs in Australia
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Australia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested dessert in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Australia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Australia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for dessert in Australia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Dessert | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | mesh tank | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 10 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | 20 mg/mL | Legal retail limit in Australia |
| Coil life | ~5 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Australia | 4–9 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | A$44 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | A$2.67 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should dessert start at?
Start at whatever Australia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Australia: about A$2.67 per 10 ml liquid plus A$44 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
