Frozen cartomizer IQOS in Australia: the wholesale shortlist
Frozen in Australia: 8 units tested over 5 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
Frozen sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Most people searching IQOS in Australia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: frozen in Australia works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen cartomizer really costs in Australia
Frozen in Australia reaches the shelf in cartomizer formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested frozen in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into Australia.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Australia, not a suggestion.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Australia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Australia caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml outside legal prescription channels.

| Entry kit | A$30 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | A$3.1 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Is frozen legal to sell in Australia?
Australia caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml outside legal prescription channels.
What nicotine strength should frozen start at?
Start at whatever Australia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
How long does frozen in a cartomizer last?
In Australia we measured 5 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
