Grapey pod kit IQOS in Australia: the budget shortlist
Grapey in Australia: 8 units tested over 6 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
Where buyers go wrong with grapey in Australia
The honest read on grapey: 8 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
A grapey pod kit from the budget options in Australia costs about A$3.39 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: grapey in Australia works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey pod kit really costs in Australia
Grapey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Australia that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within A$3.39 per 10 ml.
How we tested grapey in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every grapey bottle shipped into Australia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Australia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Australia, not a suggestion.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Australia stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Australia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
