Herbal box mod IQOS in Australia: the cheap shortlist
Herbal in Australia: 14 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
Where buyers go wrong with herbal in Australia
Herbal prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Australia that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within A$2.18 per 10 ml.
The honest read on herbal: 14 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a herbal box mod really costs in Australia
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Australia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested herbal in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Australia stocks.
