Lime box mod IQOS in Australia: the cheap shortlist
Lime in Australia: 7 units tested over 7 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
How to tell a good box mod from a repack
A lime box mod from the cheapest options in Australia costs about A$3.17 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run lime the same way in Australia: same box mod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a lime box mod really costs in Australia
The honest read on lime: 7 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested lime in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Australia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Australia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lime bottle shipped into Australia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where lime goes wrong
- Mixing lime with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lime tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lime in Australia survives.
The rules that apply here
Australia caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml outside legal prescription channels.
Retail sales in Australia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Why does lime taste burnt?
