Lime box mod IQOS in Australia: the guide shortlist
Lime in Australia: 18 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the lime habit
A lime box mod from the starter options in Australia costs about A$3.33 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Australia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long lime tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lime box mod really costs in Australia
Ordering into Australia usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested lime in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Australia, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lime bottle shipped into Australia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where lime goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lime in Australia survives.
- Treating the advertised A$45 entry kit as the real cost when refills run A$3.33 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for lime in Australia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Australia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On lime the budget price and the premium price can sit within A$3.33 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Why does lime taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the lime blend itself harsh.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Australia: about A$3.33 per 10 ml liquid plus A$45 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
