Plum box mod IQOS in Australia: the guide shortlist
Plum in Australia: 9 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
How we tested Plum box mod here
If you are looking at plum in Australia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Plum in Australia reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: plum in Australia works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum box mod really costs in Australia
Most people searching IQOS in Australia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested plum in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Australia, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where plum goes wrong
- Treating the advertised A$67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run A$1.62 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Australia survives.
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Australia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Australia caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml outside legal prescription channels. Shipping of nicotine to Australia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Entry kit | A$67 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | A$1.62 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
