Plum RDA IQOS in Australia: the deals shortlist
Plum in Australia: 12 units tested over 2 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
Choosing a RDA for plum
Most people searching IQOS in Australia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Plum RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum RDA really costs in Australia
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Australia that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within A$3.49 per 10 ml.
How we tested plum in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Australia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where plum goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Australia stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Australia accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Australia survives.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Australia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Australia caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml outside legal prescription channels. Shipping of nicotine to Australia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does plum in a RDA last?
In Australia we measured 2 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Australia?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
