Plum vape pen IQOS in Australia: the guide shortlist
Plum in Australia: 12 units tested over 4 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
What the label on Plum is allowed to say
The honest read on plum: 12 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run plum the same way in Australia: same vape pen, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum vape pen really costs in Australia
Plum vape pen reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested plum in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Australia, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Australia accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for plum in Australia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Australia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should plum start at?
Start at whatever Australia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within A$3.33 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
How long does plum in a vape pen last?
In Australia we measured 4 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
