Salted box mod IQOS in Australia: the cheap shortlist
Salted in Australia: 8 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
Ordering IQOS to Australia: the practical version
Salted box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Salted sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: salted in Australia works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted box mod really costs in Australia
Salted in Australia reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested salted in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where salted goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Australia stocks.
The rules that apply here
Australia caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml outside legal prescription channels. Shipping of nicotine to Australia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

On the last run in Australia: about A$3.33 per 10 ml liquid plus A$55 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Do you ship tracked orders to Australia?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
