Ordering IQOS to Australia: the practical version
Salted in Australia reaches the shelf in sub-ohm kit formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The honest read on salted: 20 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.

How we tested salted in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Australia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Australia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where salted goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Australia survives.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for salted in Australia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
How long does salted in a sub-ohm kit last?
In Australia we measured 5 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is salted legal to sell in Australia?
Australia caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml outside legal prescription channels.
