What a tobacco vape pen really costs in Australia
Tobacco vape pen reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested tobacco in a vape pen
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a tobacco bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised A$60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run A$2.13 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
