Tropical nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Australia: the order shortlist — Iqosaustralia
Tropical in Australia: 9 units tested over 7 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
How to tell a good nicotine salt bottle from a repack
A tropical nicotine salt bottle from the pre-order options in Australia costs about A$2.31 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a nicotine salt bottle running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, nicotine salt bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical nicotine salt bottle really costs in Australia
We run tropical the same way in Australia: same nicotine salt bottle, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested tropical in a nicotine salt bottle
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Australia, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a nicotine salt bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Australia survives.

Frequently asked questions
How long does tropical in a nicotine salt bottle last?
In Australia we measured 7 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever Australia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a nicotine salt bottle.
