Tropical in Australia: 20 units tested over 4 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
How we tested Tropical refill pack here
Tropical in Australia reaches the shelf in refill pack formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.

The short version: tropical in Australia works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical refill pack really costs in Australia
Tropical in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Australia the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested tropical in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Australia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Australia.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Australia survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Australia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
