Vanilla refill pack IQOS in Australia: the review shortlist
Vanilla in Australia: 6 units tested over 2 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
How we tested Vanilla refill pack here
We run vanilla the same way in Australia: same refill pack, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Vanilla in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Australia the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: vanilla in Australia works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla refill pack really costs in Australia
We run vanilla the same way in Australia: same refill pack, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested vanilla in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Australia stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long vanilla in Australia survives.
- Treating the advertised A$35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run A$2.47 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for vanilla in Australia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Australia caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml outside legal prescription channels.

Frequently asked questions
How long does vanilla in a refill pack last?
In Australia we measured 2 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is vanilla legal to sell in Australia?
Australia caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml outside legal prescription channels.
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
