Pear squonk mod IQOS in Australia: the budget shortlist
Pear in Australia: 21 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
We run pear the same way in Australia: same squonk mod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The honest read on pear: 21 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: pear in Australia works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear squonk mod really costs in Australia
Pear in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Australia the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested pear in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Australia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where pear goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
